How are the users in control when it takes 17 Diggs to frontpage one story and over 600 to frontpage another? :)

Digg sucks, but I don't think the algorithm is the main culprit. The algo is doing what it's supposed to do: Let the users control the content. I believe the problem is the change in the user base, not the algo.
